Significant progress in talks with AMURE

Published: 11 July 2012

The bargaining session of July 11 between the University and AMURE led to signed agreements on grievance procedure (Art. 12), arbitration (Art. 13) and disciplinary measures (Art. 14). Proposals were exchanged on articles relating to health and safety, reimbursement of expenses, and hours of work and overtime, leading to an agreement on each of these articles which will be ratified at the next bargaining session.

The parties agreed to have a discussion next week and plan the agenda for the next bargaining session. The parties also agreed to reserve seven additional meeting dates between August 29 and October 31.
