Update to EndNote X5

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Option 1

It is recommended that you use Program Updates. From within EndNote, choose "EndNote Program Updates" from the "Help" menu and follow the on-screen prompts. If you receive any error messages, close all programs and turn off any background software, such as virus protection software.

Option 2

Alternately, you can download a patch (please note that this is a .zip file that contains the .msp patch installer). To run this installer open the ZIP file and then double-click the MSP file to update your version of EndNote.

• Open and convert Reference Manager 12 Databases
• Edit and update Reference Manager 11/12 citations in Word
• Updates to Bibliographic formatting styles, Import Filters, and Connection Files
