A Conversation with Principal and Vice-Chancellor Suzanne Fortier
Principal Fortier, following in the footsteps of her predecessors, has kindly agreed to serve as the Patron of the James McGill Society, and has also agreed to appear before the Society
in a question/answer session.
A native of St-Timothée, Québec, Professor Fortier is a McGill graduate, BSc’72 and PhD’76. Her academic career was spent largely at Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, as a Professor, and as Vice-Principal (Research) 1995-2000 & Vice-Principal (Academic) 2000-2005, following which she served as President of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada
