Throughout the month of March, McGill is hosting its first two Provostial Visiting Fellows-in-Residence on Black Life and History. The initiative stems from the McGill Action Plan to Address Anti-Black Racism.

The McCall MacBain Scholarships at McGill has announced its largest-ever group of 91 finalists for the September 2024 cohort.
In March, the top 91 candidates will arrive in Montreal for the final round of scholarship interviews. The 37 international finalists hail from 24 countries. Countries represented for the first time include Brazil, Ecuador, Kenya, Mongolia, Philippines, Rwanda, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Trinidad and Tobago, and Tunisia.
Since 2016, McGill's Graduate Mobility Award has funded over 1,300 students in their travel to over 85 countries around the world.
The McGill International Institute of Education (MIIE) welcomed 20 undergraduate students and three chaperones from the Zayed University in the United Arab Emirates to a two-week MIIE Summer Academy from June 26 to July 7, 2023.

OTTAWA – Two hundred Canadian and West African researchers and advanced scholars will be receiving funding from the new QES Advanced Scholars West Africa program to work together to find solutions to the world’s increasingly complex challenges.
The funding supports research-focused exchanges for doctoral researchers, post-doctoral fellows and early career researchers in universities in Canada and West and Central African countries.
