Applications are invited for two tenure track Assistant Professor positions in Green Chemistry. Applications from more senior candidates may be considered. Research programs of particular interest include, but are not limited to, biomass processing, chemical separations/analysis, and catalytic deconstruction. These positions reflect McGill University’s strategic commitment in Green Chemistry, which has resulted in the awarding of a Canada Excellence Research Chair and two Canada Research Chairs in Green Chemistry, plus more than $30M of associated research infrastructure. Successful applicants will be nominated for a prestigious Tier II Canada Research Chair.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree, postdoctoral experience, proven research ability, and a strong commitment to teaching. The successful candidates will be expected to develop an independent research program, work in a multidisciplinary research environment, and have research interests and expertise that would complement existing strengths in Sustainable Innovation within the Department of Chemistry. Selected applicants will have a strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate student education, and make contributions to areas of service.
