Manuelle Landry-CuerrierMy role as the northern research and training coordinator include (but is not limited to) :

Travel to remote northern regions to conduct field research
Coordinate research logistic and training opportunities with northern partners
Prepare and communicate research reports
Assist in research protocol and license applications
Provide graduate students with basic support for data collection, statistical analysis, and redaction
Attend meetings and conferences to promote our research program

Sonia Périllat-Amédée

Sonia Périllat-Amédée

Sonia completed her master’s degree in Human Nutrition at McGill University in 2020 under the supervision of Dr Treena Delormier. The objective of her thesis project was to explore community wellness perspectives in the Nehirowisiw Atikamekw community of Manawan. This project was part of the Community Mobilization Training (CMT) study, organized by the Kahnawà:ke Schools Diabetes Prevention Program (KSDPP). Concurrently, Sonia worked on the Tahathikonhsontóntie’ ERRSA-Qc funding application. Sonia continues to work with the CME, PPDEK and ERRSA-Qc teams as a research assistant for Dr Treena Delormier. Whether through her work or in her personal life, Sonia wishes to continue to encourage community mobilization for the promotion of healthy lifestyles, food sovereignty and holistic wellness.

Kirsten Bowser is a research coordinator who supports Dr. Humphries in his roles of director at CINE and co-research director at Canadian Mountain Network / Braiding Knowledges Canada.

Marisol Vidal-Batres

Marisol Vidal-Batres

Marisol earned her master's degree in Human Nutrition from McGill University in 2022. Her research project focused on assessing risk factors for interrupting exclusive breastfeeding, including maternal and infant symptoms. Currently, Marisol takes on the role of coordinating the organization of Professor Delormier's projects at CINE.
