Lab Team

The Connections Lab is a team of researchers, scholars, students, alumni, and others interested in research to improve educational and mental health outcomes for the highest risk school children. We apply scientific methods to a variety of topics in education and psychology. Our projects for 2014-2015 include: reviewing diagnostics and educational approaches to children with microdeletion syndromes (i.e., rare genetics syndromes); developing and evaluating meta-academic interventions in primary and secondary schools; and advancing theories, methods and application of implementation science in school settings. All graduate students on the team are expected to develop their own research project in support of the overall lab goals. The goal of the lab is to support these innovative contributions to knowledge and clinical practice.
