Macdonald-Harrington Building

Start of project: June 2017

End of project: Summer 2019

This project includes a major restoration of the exterior masonry walls of the Macdonald-Harrington building. Some of the stones are cracked or delaminated and some mortar joints are open. The roof also needs to be replaced, as do the aluminum windows. The wooden windows, which have a high heritage value, will be restored. Some foundation repairs are also needed in order to address water infiltration issues in the basement.
