The Macdonald-Stewart Library Building, which houses the Schulich Library of Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Engineering, needs significant structural repairs and major internal upgrades. This project includes stabilization of the stone structure, foundation waterproofing, window replacement, washroom expansion and the installation of a new heating, ventilation and air conditioning system.
The Library Building will be closed for two years and staff and student spaces relocated during the construction project. The renovated building will feature more study and work spaces, increased accessibility, more washrooms and new flooring, ceilings and lights.
