Amy Butcher is a long-time translator who also writes for the web and provides developmental editing for self-published authors. After moving to Quebec from Toronto in 2000, Amy roamed the streets of Montreal, picking up the culture and eating the fantastic bagels before getting her certificate and graduate diploma in translation from McGill, having twins, moving to the South Shore, and getting married to a bilingual Francophone (in that order). Amy loves not only the dance of language transfer but also the art of good business. She is currently building a library of resources and courses to give translators effective business tools for the real world.
