Biography
Graduate of the University of Sherbrooke and member of the Quebec Bar since 2002, Me Sébastien Fiset possesses over 15 years of experience in the real estate business, including 13 years as a lawyer specialising in co-ownership law.
Me Fiset has extensive experience in the management and administration of condominiums, having previously exercised the profession of condominium manager for a property management firm, after obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in finance from HEC Montreal in 2001.
Managing partner and founder of the Fiset Legal law firm (2009), Me Fiset is also an accredited mediator and arbitrator in civil and commercial matters, as well as a mediator for the Court of Quebec, small claims division. In that regard, he has actively participated in out of court settlements on numerous mandates.
Me Fiset has also obtained certifications and attestations in finance, from the Association paritaire pour la santé et la sécurité du travail du secteur de la construction and in real estate brokerage. He is fluent in French, English and Spanish.
His areas of practice include: condominium law, real estate law, construction law, contract law, insurance law, guarantee plan, mediation and arbitration, financing, as well as training in condominium law.
