Biography
General manager of GKV, a group of travel agencies and tour operator, Michel Lefebvre has almost 30 years of experience in senior-level Marketing and Communications positions at Quebecois and Canadian organizations such as the Montreal Chamber of Commerce, Montreal Symphony Orchestra, Place des Arts, the National Arts Centre of Canada, UQAM, property management firm Ivanhoe/Cambridge and the Metropolitan Transport Agency (AMT).
An enthusiastic and active supporter of the Arts, Michel Lefebvre is the past President of the Symphony Orchestra in Laval, Ludovic House, Ensemble Arion, la Fondation de l’Institut Armand-Frappier and Théâtre d’Aujourd’hui and has served on diverse Quebecois and Canadian Committees on the Arts, Communications and Higher Education.
Recipient of several awards in Public Relations, including the prestigious Award of Excellence bestowed by the Canadian Public Relations Association, Michel Lefebvre gives seminars in Public Relations at École des hautes études commerciales, and is a respected lecturer at the University of Sherbrooke and McGill University.
