Centre de recherche sur l'enfance et la famille

Le Centre de recherche sur l'enfance et la famille (CREF), anciennement le Centre d'études appliquées sur la famille, mène et dissémine de la recherche pour des programmes et politiques efficaces à l'endroit des enfants vulnérables et de leur famille. Le CREF est affilié à l'École de service social de l'Université McGill et est un site du CEPB.

Emmanuel Chilanga's blog titled Understanding Urban Poverty: the Lived Experiences of ‘Incomplete House’-Sitters in Malawi has been published on the Hungry Cities Partnership website based at the University of Wilfrid Laurier. Great work Emmanuel!

 

The February issue of CRCF News, a monthly update about calls for papers and proposals, conferences and trainings, job opportunities, new research and other news of interest to the CRCF community, has just been released! Spread the word! Share widely!

 

We are proud to announce the launch of a new publication, CRCF Illuminates Research, an infographic sheet which provides a brief summary of our members’ research and how it has impacted the well-being of children and families. The first issue, A New Lens in Child Protection Settings: The Trauma-Informed ARC Framework describes the work of Delphine Collin-Vézina and her research team on the Attachment, Self-Regulation, and Competency project.
