Aline Bogossian

Aline Bogossian is a post-doctoral researcher at the Neuroethics Research Unit of the Institut de recherches cliniques de Montreal. Her current research, funded by a two-year fellowship from the Fonds de recherche santé, focuses on ethics in healthcare transitions and how practices may be improved to support children and youth with neurodisabilities and chronic health conditions and their families. Aline has been a member of the CRCF since 2009, starting her work as an MSW research assistant in Dr. Lach’s lab where she provided research support and coordination to the CIHR team in Parenting Matters! until 2016. Aline's doctoral research focused on fathers’ experiences of parenting children with neurodisabilities, funded by Fonds de recherche du Québec en société et culture (FRQSC) and the Canadian Child Health Clinician Scientist Program (CCHCSP) and with financial support from the School of Social Work and the CRCF.  Aline is a member of the Ordre des travailleurs sociaux et des thérapeutes conjugaux et familiaux du Québec and was a clinical social worker within the Department of Social Services of the Montreal Children’s Hospital from 2009-2016.
