Travel Grants
Purpose: Presentation conference CSDC
Eligibility: CSDC MA, PhD students and Postdoctoral fellows
Amount: (2018-2019) Max $750 per grant
When to apply:
- Notify the Centre in writing of travel plans by September 30, 2018
- Submit a complete application at least two weeks prior to conference travel
NOTE: Only members and students of the Centre for the Study of Democratic Citizenship (CSDC) are eligible to apply for this funding. No exceptions will be made.
Methods Training Grant
Purpose: Methods training
Eligibility: CSDC MA, PhD students and Postdoctoral fellows
Amount: Max $2,500
When to apply: March 1
NOTE: Only members and students of the Centre for the Study of Democratic Citizenship (CSDC) are eligible to apply for this funding. No exceptions will be made.
International Exchange Grant

Student & Postdoctoral Research Grant
Purpose: MA, PhD or Postdoctoral research project
Eligibility: CSDC MA and PhD students, and Postdoctoral fellows
Amount: max $1,000 per academic year
When to apply: January 30
NOTE: Only members and students of the Centre for the Study of Democratic Citizenship (CSDC) are eligible to apply for this funding. No exceptions will be made.
Inter-regional Travel Grant
Purpose: expense reimbursement Covers inter-regional travel costs between Montreal and Quebec City to attend Centre events CSDC researchers
Eligibility: postdoctoral fellows, and students
Amount: case-by-case
When to apply: Ongoing basis
