In Case of Emergency

In some rare cases, the office of the Dean of Students (and the University more generally) needs to get in touch with your emergency contacts. It is therefore important that you keep us updated, and this is easily done through Minerva: simply go to your “Personal tab” and follow the instructions. It’s really essential that you take 30 seconds to complete this task. Our office is there to help students, and in urgent or crisis situations we have to be able to find and contact your emergency contacts quickly – whether a parent, uncle, sister or friend. While updating your emergency contact, please also let us know your local address and phone number, since that information can also be very helpful in some scenarios. Thank you! Study hard; stay well.

McGill University is on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous Peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations. McGill honours, recognizes and respects these nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which we are located.
