Put your wellness ideas into action

Each year, the Office of the Dean of Students disperses funding from the Mary H. Brown Fund, a fund specifically set up for projects aimed at supporting and promoting positive mental health and healthy living with the McGill community. With more than $20,000 available annually, the fund helps a wide-ranging array of projects and initiatives, from support groups to student-run magazines to exercise accessibility projects, and so much more. This funding is available to students, staff and faculty, so long as the project/initiative aims to help the McGill community. You can find more information about the fund on our website, and see a few examples of the groups we have funded in the past.

The deadline to apply for funding is Friday, October 16, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to our office at deanofstudents [at] mcgill.ca if you have any questions or would like any clarification on what projects we can accept. I look forward to seeing all the creative proposals I know the McGill community will bring forward!

McGill University is on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous Peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations. McGill honours, recognizes and respects these nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which we are located.
