Department of Integrated Studies in Education (MA)

I am currently developing course material for DENT 201 (Dentistry Social Justice Seminar) and am the primary workshop facilitator who will be delivering the modules to DMD students at McGill. The Faculty of Dentistry is a co-applicant on this project and will be working closely with the researchers there on educational research and curriculum development for DMD students.

In addition to developing social justice modules for health science partners, I wish to be instrumental in ensuring that intersectionality and anti-oppression are fundamental tenets in our work. Critical race theory and an exploration of the racialized issues related to rape-culture and systemic violence will also heavily weigh-in on my research objectives.
