 ll be giving a presentation with the Canadian Bureau of International Educ
 ation (CBIE) and Student Advising – Conseil aux étudiants (SACE) on sexual
  violence and international students\, based on her publication in the iMP
 ACTS special issue of Education & Law Journal. \n\nPresentation summary:\n
 \n\n	Join Student Advising – Conseil aux étudiants (SACE) for a workshop on
  Sexual Violence Policy and International Student Support. We will hear ab
 out the research that exists on international students ‘experience of sexu
 al violence\, how researchers are better trying to understand impacts of s
 exual violence on international students\, and what organizations are doin
 g to ensure that international students are protected through robust polic
 ies and targeted support materials.\n\n	About the Presenters:\n\n	Shannon Hu
 tcheson is a PhD candidate in The Department of Integrated Studies in Educ
 ation at McGill University with a focus on international education. She is
  an international educator and advocate with strong interest in comparativ
 e and international education\, student support\, and policy. \n\n	Jade Lis
 ter is a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner working at Mount Allison University
  who provides support to survivors and has been instrumental in developing
  sexual violence policies for students and staff at their institution.\n\n
