Dr. Tina Montreuil, ECP, Invited to Provide Expert Testimony to the House of Commons

Published: 26 April 2024

Dr. Tina Montreuil, ECP, has been recognized by the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health as one of Canada’s Difference Makers.

This honour led to Dr. Montreuil’s selection as an expert witness, invited to present before Canada’s parliament on April 8, 2024.

Dr. Montreuil went before the House of Commons of Canada to address the Standing Committee on Health Studies Issues (HESA), a group mandated by Health Canada for issues including bills and regulations, discussing the findings of the Montreal Antenatal Well-Being Study, one of the largest studies in Canada seeking to better understand why some women are more likely than others to experience anxiety and depression during and after pregnancy.
