13th Anual Faculty of Dentistry Research Day

The Faculty of Dentistry Research Day provides an excellent opportunity for graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, research assistants, research associates and residents to showcase their research work in academic posters and oral presentations. Held on April 4, 2018 at New Residence Hall this year was the 13th edition of Research Day. The day was packed with intellectually inspiring graduate research work from a wide range of subjects from both Research Divisions. It was also an honour and pleasure to host Keynote Speaker Dr. Yoshinori Sumita, Clinical Research Director and Associate Professor at the Nagasaki University Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, in Japan. His speech entitled Translational Research: Cell-Based Therapy to Repair Damaged Oral Tissues focused on the current translational research strategies of cell therapy for oral and salivary tissues.
