McGill University's Open House 2017

The turnout at the Faculty of Dentistry's McGill University's Open House on Sunday October 29th was excellent. Many prospective students came to learn what McGill has to offer, both inside and outside the classroom, and have their questions about life at McGill answered. Student Ambassadors and staff from the Admissions Office were on site to answer questions from prospective students, offer an information session and give tours of the clinic and Simulation Lab. The Faculty also participated to the Interprofessional Healthcare Panel and was represented by Dr. Marina D’Souza. This panel consisted of representatives from seven health professional programs offered at McGill University (Communication Sciences and Disorders, Dentistry, Dietetics and Human Nutrition, Medicine, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy). The goal of the panel was to give prospective students a glimpse into these healthcare professions to help them make more informed decisions about their academic pursuits.
