At the end of September, the Faculty welcomed its newest member, Adam Boon. Adam will be working alongside Iren as HR Administratorto support the HR activities of the Faculty.
Adam is from the town of Dryden in northwestern Ontario. After obtaining a mathematics degree from Queen's University, Adam moved to Thunder Bay, ON and studied Human Resources at the post graduate level. He enjoys the combination of analytics and human relations in his career. Adam's experience in HR is rooted in early childhood education. In his former position he was responsible for all HR functions of a large nonprofit daycare organization that served over 500 families in Thunder Bay, ON. He is excited to bring this experience to McGill and further develop his skill set in the setting of higher education.
Adam is also a former tree planter, tree plant operations foreman, and junior A hockey official. He enjoys houseplants, reading, cooking, mountainbiking, and skiing in his spare time.
