Dentistry Researchers Receive AAIDF Grant

Graduate researchers receive funds for their promising work.

Dentistry graduate student Sheri Iskander and project supervisor Dr. Firoozeh Samim have been awarded the Student Grant Award from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Foundation (AAIDF) for their research project entitled, "Risk factors associated with the development of post-implant neuropathy."

This award is granted to dental students, post-graduates and residency programs students to support their research in the field of Implant Dentistry. The funded projects demonstrate significant scientific merit, and constitute an innovative pilot project that provides a basis for furtehr research. Furthermore, the team will be presenting an abstract poster session or table clinic at the 69th AAID Annual Conference in Atlanta, Georgia from November 11 to November 14, 2020.
