Every year the Faculty of Dentistry organizes a Research Day in which our graduate trainees have the opportunity to present their work and interact with the faculty members and other students. Our program is diverse, including oral and poster presentations from our two Research Divisions: Biomedical Sciences and Oral Health and Society. In this year's edition, we had the honor and pleasure to host as our Keynote Speaker Dr. Philippe Campeau, Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Pediatrics, University of Montreal and Sainte-Justine Hospital. Furthermore, this year Dr. Petra Schweinhardt replaced Dr. Mari Kaartinen in the role of the Research Day Advisor. Dr. Kaartinen had organized the 1st Research Day back in 2006 and she was the Research Day Advisor for ten years. "I was very glad to participate as a Vice-Chair in the preparation of the 11th Annual Dentistry Research Day and I am looking forward for our next Dentistry Research Day in 2017. Our new Vice-Chair for 2017 will be the PhD student, Haider Al-Waeli," explains Dimitra Athanasiadou, Research Day 2016 Vice-Chair. Congratulations to all prize winners listed below!
