My name is Kari and I am new to the Faculty of Dentistry Mobile Outreach Clinic here at McGill. I am familiar with dentistry having graduated from a 2 Year Dental Assisting Outreach Program (1994) I then spent 14 years in private practice dental assisting/treatment coordinating. I loved it! What I would like you to know about me is that in my spare time I am also fitness nut! I love being active and have been a long standing Group Fitness volunteer for the YMCA’s of Ontario and Quebec. I also, recently spent two years coordinating 90+ volunteers and employees by ways of organizing fundraising events, collaborating on an extensive group fitness schedule and mobilizing staff and community from diverse backgrounds I feel honored to be part of the Mobile Outreach Clinic and, look forward to being part of such a great program. I have always felt at ease working with the community. I just knew the Mobile Outreach Clinic was the place I wanted to be a part of. I aspire to continue relationships with our host centers, become more knowledgeable about the entire MOC program, keep it running smooth all while having the great challenge of learning everyone’s names, graduating year and job titles. “Surround yourself with people who encourage you to do and be better”
