The cultural immersion began with a deep dive into Brazil’s rich history. Students delved into the country's past, from its colonial roots to its modern-day diversity, providing context on current-day Brazilian industry operations. Brazil's culture is a rich tapestry woven from Indigenous, Portuguese, African, and various immigrant influences, reflected in everything from the country's vibrant festivals to its culinary delights. Visiting iconic sites like Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain in Rio was awe-inspiring and offered the group a glimpse into Brazil's natural beauty and cultural significance.

Industry exposure was a key component of the trip. Visits to companies like Brookfield and Natura provided students valuable insights into large-scale investments and sustainable business practices in Latin America. At Brookfield, they explored the strategic investments driving growth across the region. Meanwhile, Natura's commitment to eco-friendly cosmetics highlighted the growing importance of sustainability in business. These visits underscored Brazil's position as an emerging economic power and showcased the innovative approaches that companies are adopting to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Networking played a significant role throughout the group’s journey. Students had the opportunity to engage with local professionals, fellow students, and business leaders, building connections that went beyond exchanging business cards. Conversations often extended to topics such as family, football, and Brazil's natural beauty, reflecting the importance of personal relationships in Brazilian business culture.
