BRIDGE Webinar with Matt Guttentag, Program Director with LINC
Social Network Analysis
Date: Monday, December 4, 2017
Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM EST
Abstract
Social Network Analysis (SNA) is an increasingly popular tool in designing and evaluating international development programs. Using SNA allows practitioners to understand, through visualization and quantification, the web of interdependent relationships that can be critical for the success or failure of an intervention, as well as how these relationships change over the course of an intervention. LINC has used SNA across contexts as diverse as water governance systems in the Democratic Republic of Congo, workforce development networks in Nicaragua, and global health supply chains. During the webinar, LINC Program Director Matt Guttentag will discuss how LINC has used SNA in international development and what LINC has learned about the promise and challenges of scaling the use of SNA in the development sector.
