Desautels finishes strong at 2022 ICBC

44th Inter-Collegiate Business Competition (ICBC) 2022
Published: 19 January 2022
Five BCom case teams made the finals at the 44th annual Inter-Collegiate Business Competition (ICBC) hosted virtually by Queen's University from January 13 to 16, 2022 with the Finance and Ethics teams each taking first place.

Winning teams:

Finance: Julia Jin and Lucy Chen, coached by Mo Chaudhury

Ethics: Karen Zhuang & Anish Umasuthan, coached by Melissa Sonberg and Julia Scott

In October 2021, these teams participated in a written case competition, finishing top six. They were invited to return for the final round, where they had 5.5 hours to analyze a new case that was then presented to a panel of representatives of the business community.

Special thanks go to all the professors who devoted their time and energy coaching the teams.
