Canada’s Governor General on tour
Julie Payette, Governor General of Canada, recently visited the Gaspé and Percé regions. Her visit included a series of meetings with officials from the region and non-profit organizations.
One such meeting included Manon Jeannotte (EMBA’16), Chief of the Micmac de Gespeg, who presented the Right Honourable Payette with jewelry crafted by a local artist.

Live your Olympic fantasies at new museum exhibition
The Canadian Olympic Experience (COE), of which Eric Myles (EMBA’ 11) is Executive Director, Sport, has announced the opening of a series interactive exhibits that will allow visitors to immerse themselves in the exhilarating experience of competing at the Olympics.
“People who are coming to visit us will get a lot of fun, especially in Zone 1 where they can test themselves physically,” Myles said.
EMBA alumnus promoted to citizenship judge
Canada’s Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, Ahmed Hussen, has appointed Marie Senécal-Tremblay (EMBA’ 13) among a group of ten new citizenship judges who will serve for a three-year term.
The newly announced appointments bring the total of citizenship judges across Canada to 14.
