Nader Hamid

After graduating in Finance from McGill, Nader began his career as an Investment Advisor at Hollis Insurance in 2002.

While the North American economy was still staggering from the Tech bubble burst, and most of the industry was focused on maximizing short-term investment returns, Nader saw an opportunity to bring a long-term perspective to his clients through highly personalized wealth planning strategies combined with a solid investment philosophy.

As he grew the number of client relationships he managed, Nader pursued the CIM® designation, earning the title of Portfolio Manager. This designation gives him the ability to manage large mandates on a discretionary basis and is the highest available in the industry, held by less than 5% of advisors across Canada. He later became a financial planner (CFP), and when Quebec established its own standards, he hit the books yet again to earn his Financial Planning designation from the IQPF.

With the vision of working together to provide Canada’s best wealth management service, Nader co-founded the Total Wealth Management Group. The group offers a superior service level highly tailored to each client’s situation. It also has an integrated wealth management approach by leveraging on a highly experienced professional network (tax specialists, legal experts, accountants, insurance specialists, mortgage brokers).

Nader has a dynamic nature that helps him juggle several passions at once – parenthood, study, research, and an intensive physical training regime. Nader is a Type 1 Diabetic and is intimately involved with raising funds and awareness for JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).

For three consecutive years, Nader has been recognized as one of the Top 50 Advisors in Canada by Wealth Professional. Both in 2019 and 2020, he was the advisor from Quebec with the highest position in the ranking.
