SEI Homecoming Keynote: From Ebola to Imbalance
The Social Economy Initiative (SEI) is an important vehicle through which the Desautels Faculty of Management integrates social entrepreneurship and social innovation more formally into its teaching, research and outreach activities. It is an undertaking of the Marcel Desautels Institute for Integrated Management.
All alumni, students, staff and faculty are invited to join us as the Social Economy Initiative (SEI) hosts a special Homecoming presentation with Dr. Joanne Liu, MDCM’91, MMGMT’14, International President of Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières and McGill Desautels renowned Professor Henry Mintzberg as they discuss the need for strong NGO’s, especially in the health sector, and the important role that plural sector organizations can play in rebalancing society.
