Serge Pizem

Serge joined AXA Investment Managers in 2002 as Head of European Equities in Paris.  He then became Head of AXA Framlington Paris before taking the leadership of the Optimal Investment team.   Previously, he worked as a consultant at RCMP and at the Power Corporation of Canada. 

In 1991, he joined Crédit Lyonnais Canada where he occupied successive positions as credit analyst, risk manager and head of portfolio management development. Thereafter, in 1995, he joined the Paris-based team as Marketing Manager for the Middle East and UK and then, in 1996, he became Portfolio Manager for International Equities.   In 1999, Serge joined Barclays Asset Management France as Head of Equity Investments and Asset Allocation.  

In 2000, he became Managing Director of Tal Asset Management (Europe) SA in Geneva.  Serge Pizem holds a Master’s of Science in Information Technology and Operations Research from the University of Montréal and an MBA from McGill University and has the CFA professional designation
