Biography: 

George Rizk is Partner at Baupost Group L.L.C. with a primary focus on private market investing. Baupost Group L.L.C. is a hedge fund that manages approximately 30 BN dollars in regulatory AUM and has over 200 employees. Prior to Baupost George Rizk held partner level positions with D.E. Shaw & Co. and Cerberus Capital Management. Mr. Rizk graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a concentrations in finance from McGill University in 1993. Mr. Rizk currently serves on the boards of Media Rights Capital, a privately held movie and television studio as well as the Tribeca Film Institute.
