 William Sutherland\, MD\n\nGeneral practice physician presently working in
  primary mental healthcare\, general practice psychotherapy\, and function
 al medicine. He is the innovator of the Complexity Medicine paradigm and t
 he author of the book on the subject\, Grand Rounds: Healing Wisdom for a 
 Complex World.  \n\nComplexity Medicine\, by answering the call towards gr
 eater holism\, looks at the embodiment of individual\, cultural\, and ecol
 ogical health from an aesthetic\, patterned\, relational\, and systems-bas
 ed stance. He is a graduate of the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine 
 at McMaster University and has completed a residency in rural family medic
 ine. Presently\, he is an adjunct faculty member through the School of Env
 ironment\, Resources\, and Sustainability at the University of Waterloo an
 d an External Affiliate Researcher at the Waterloo Institute of Complexity
