Biography: 

Philippe Levy joined McGill's Faculty of Management in 1990.

He teaches a variety of accounting and finance courses, both at the graduate (MBA and CPA) and undergraduate levels. Philippe is the recipient of numerous teaching awards namely; McGill MBA Core Teaching Award 2023 (graduate level), McGill's Desautels Faculty of Management Distinguished Teaching Award in 2014 (graduate level), McGill's Faculty of Management Distinguished Teaching Award  in 1998 (undergraduate level) and the first Recognition Award for University Teaching by the Order of Chartered Professional Accountants in Quebec in 2008, Mr. Levy consistently receives the highest course-satisfaction ratings in the faculty.

Mr. Levy also provides custom business and executive programs through direct and “train the trainer” deliveries in Canada, Europe and Asia. Clients range from small to large multinational corporations and governmental agencies. He has personally developed training programs for up to 11,000 participants relating to improving management skills and strategic control & implementation.

Mr. Levy's professional experience is well rounded. As a former vice-president of a public company, a practicing Chartered Professional Accountant, and a business consultant, Mr. Levy has provided consulting services relating to mergers and acquisitions, expert testimony in criminal and civil lawsuits, and business planning.
