Sean is Director of Global Communications and External Relations, Strategy and Corporate Finance, at McKinsey & Company, where he is responsible for engaging and strengthening the firm's network of nearly 25,000 former consultants in 100 countries around the world. He has a decade of experience in alumni engagement and community building, and leads the Firm’s global alumni programs and services, including the website, communications, career services, and knowledge events.
Prior to McKinsey, Sean was director of alumni relations at the MIT Sloan School of Management. He also founded and was CEO of BrandStamp, a venture-backed marketing technology company, and was COO of Beverly Hills Motoring, a retailer and direct marketer of custom luxury vehicles and accessories.
Sean was also a consultant in McKinsey’s New York and Boston offices, where he served clients in financial services, retail, and healthcare. He also served as an internal consultant at Dunkin' Donuts Corporation and at Furniture.com.
Sean earned a Masters in Management from MIT Sloan in 1994, and has served as a board director of the MIT Sloan Alumni Club of Boston since 2001. He also earned a Bachelor of Commerce with Great Distinction from McGill University in Montreal, Canada
