Thierry Nguyen

Thierry is a Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking for Quebec at Canaccord Genuity. His coverage spans broadly across multiple sectors with leading corporations, emerging high growth companies, private equity and venture capital firms, and entrepreneurs. He advises his clients on public and private transactions- including mergers & acquisitions, capital markets financings, private placements, shareholder activism, and strategic advisory. Prior to joining Canaccord Genuity in 2022, Thierry spent 15 years at RBC Capital Markets, most recently as a Managing Director in Global Investment Banking.

Thierry is active with philanthropic organizations including the Foundation of Centraide of Greater Montreal, and the College international Marie de France.

Thierry is a McGill alumni (BCom 2007- with Great Distinction). He resides in Montreal with his wife, Vanessa Hirschl (BCom 2007 and MBA 2013) and their two young daughters.
