P. Lantz Graduate Fellowship for Excellence in Education & the Arts

AWARD TERMS

Established in 2014 by Pauline Smith, M.Ed. 1975, for outstanding graduate students in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education to recognize excellence in research in education and the arts. Awarded on the basis of academic merit and artistic achievement to MA or PHD students in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education, Faculty of Education, McGill University.

ELIGIBILTY & ASSESSMENT

Applicants will be assessed by the Graduate Program Directors based on the following criteria:

  • Full time PhD, MA-Thesis or MA-Project (12-credits) student in DISE
  • Research focus in the arts
  • Academic merit
  • Artistic achievement

Late and/or incomplete applications will be deemed ineligible. Similarly applications from non-qualified applicants (e.g., wrong program) will not be considered.

Award decisions will be communicated by mid September. Please note, only those applicants selected for awards will be contacted.

Note that you can only be awarded one P. Lantz Fellowship in an academic year.
