Biography: 

Originally from England, Dr. Claire Gregor is a qualified social worker (MSW) and educator with over twenty-five years of clinical experience working with individuals and families experiencing emotional and mental health difficulties. She has worked in a variety of community settings as a mental health social worker, including hostels for homeless people, community drug clinics and university health services. Claire also undertook studies at the Tavistock Centre in the UK and completed a year-long clinical internship in the Gender Identity Development Service in 2013. Her PhD thesis was on the experience of families of pre-pubescent children who were experiencing gender dysphoria. Claire has also provided clinical supervision to social workers and was an Associate Professor in Social Work for over ten years, specialising in adult mental health and child development. She has also worked for the public sector in secondary education, teaching Psychology and Social Sciences.

Claire is currently working as an intern as a Couple and Family Therapist (CFT) for the McGill University Couple and Family Therapy Clinic and the Couple and Family Therapy Clinic at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal.
