Graduate supervision:

Please note that graduate applications are being processed through McGill's web site; see http://www.mcgill.ca/gradapplicants/apply.  I regretfully cannot answer all e-mail inquiries, but students interested in graduate research will be given full consideration when their applications are received, and are welcome to apply through standard McGill channels. This way all applicants are assessed more fairly and have been screened for basic admission requirements. Note also that at this stage I cannot comment on one’s chances of getting an admission offer nor funding. The admission process is competitive, and we strive to offer admission and funding packages to the best possible students. In the process, you are allowed to nominate me as your potential supervisor if you are interested in joining my group.

Areas of interest:

Power system economics, reliability, control and optimization. Operations research, statistics and data science, mixed-integer and stochastic optimization techniques for power system operation and planning. Energy policy.
