Dr. Victoria Talwar among McGill Canada Research Chair honourees

Five McGill researchers were granted renewals on their Canada Research Chair awards this week, including Professor Victoria Talwar, of our Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology.

Dr. Talwar will continue her research as Canada Research Chair in Forensic Developmental Psychology, SSHRC Tier 2. There are currently six Canada Research Chairs with McGill's Faculty of Education. Please visit out CRC page for more information.

Earlier this year Professor Talwar was named to the Royal Society of Canada. Dr. Talwar is an Associate Member of McGill's Institute for Human Development and Well-Being (IHDW) and Director of the Talwar Research Team, where she examines children's truth-telling in legal settings.
