YAHAnet (Youth, the Arts and HIV and AIDS) and the Participatory Cultures Lab at McGill University are pleased to announce the upcoming roundtable entitled Adolescent Sexual Health: Dialogue and Collaborations, Friday, November 20th (3:00 – 5:00 pm) in Room 200 of the Coach House, 3715 Peel Street.
In conjunction with events leading up to World AIDS Day (December 1st) at McGill and beyond, this round table brings together sexual health education scholars and activists from different dimensions to share their experiences and to exchange ideas about the role of social media, digital media, participatory work, and arts-based methods in sexuality education.
We are organizing this roundtable around the experiences, opportunities, obstacles, priorities and possible solutions related to adolescent sexual health. We were first approached by the Heeva Foundation to embark on an event like this as they move forward with their work on sexual health in Iran.
Everybody is very welcome to this event and there is no need for registration. Just come, enjoy the discussion and participate if you like. You can also enjoy the refreshments and snacks after the round table.
