TechIdea Pitch Competition

The TechIdea Pitch Competition has been established to encourage McGill students, working in teams, to propose new technologically-based ideas/solutions in the form of new products, services and/or ventures to solve real world problems. 


The TechIdea Pitch Competition is open to any McGill University student team comprised of 2 to 4 members where at least one member is a currently enrolled student, undergraduate or graduate, in McGill’s Faculty of Engineering.  If you have already developed your solution and are beyond the idea stage (e.g. already have sales or customer transactions), then you are not eligible.

Submission & Selection Process

Step 1 – Submit your idea summary by Friday, December 08, 2017, 5pm, here.

Step 2 – Finalists notified and announced on Thursday, January 11, 2018

Step 3 – Finalists attend a pitch workshop on January 18, 2018

Step 4 – TechIdea Pitch Competition will be held on Tuesday January 23, 2018, 4-7:30PM (detailed schedule coming soon)
