Zeitouni, A.G, MD (Sher.), FRCSC

Dr. Anthony Zeitouni graduated from Sherbrooke Medical School and a residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at McGill University.  After the residency, he obtained additional research training leading to as MSc, and then a fellowship in New York.  He went to Zurich for further training in Skull Base Surgery.

He returned to McGill in 1995.  A strong believer in interdisciplinary care, he fostered the development of interdisciplinary clinics for Head and Neck Cancers at the Royal Victoria Hospital and for Skull Base Tumors at the Montreal Neurological Hospital.  He was Medical Director of the Head and Neck team, building the team into a strong supra-regional center for Head and Neck Cancer.  He innovated in surgery, helping patients in Montreal benefit from endoscopic skull base surgical techniques.  He developed a number of technology tools to help in-power patients and promoted psychosocial research within the team.

He serves as co-lead for Head and Neck for the Rossy Cancer Network.  He has an active research program; he has been invited to lecture nationally and internationally and he has published over 100 peer-reviewed journal articles.
