Tal Cantor

"Upon my graduation I worked for the Public Health Agency of Canada in Ottawa over the summer then completed a three month internship at the World Health Organization, Regional Office for Europe, in Copenhagen Denmark.

I am grateful for the training and practical skills I gained throughout the two-year MScPH program and encourage any prospective student who wants a career in public health practice and research to apply."

"McGill's MScPH program prepared me for the real world. The program has a strong emphasis on epidemiology and quantitative sciences. Through the program, I successfully completed my 4-month practicum at Cancer Care Ontario and gained valuable work experience that helped me start a career in the cancer control community.

Soon after graduation, I moved on to my current role at the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer where I provide analytical support to various program teams."

Mike Dolph

“My experience in McGill’s MScPH program was transforming and rewarding. The interdisciplinary approach allowed for regular, quality interactions with fellow students, faculty and staff across disciplines, including epidemiology, biostatistics and economics. This was paramount in enabling me to pursue my professional and academic interests. The summer practicum component only reinforced these program strengths.

I had the privilege of spending the summer practicum component working with a highly motivated and inspiring team at the Southern Africa World Bank office based in Pretoria, South Africa."
