Current research:
My research interests are volcanology and geochemistry. My current research focuses on phreatic eruptions, their causes and their indicators. Specifically, I am interested in the potential for stalled magma bodies to exist within active volcanoes and become entrained in phreatic eruptions. I addition, I am interested in the process of hydrothermal sealing and the roles of fractures in the sealing process and how best to analyze them. I am also passionate about science outreach and sharing earth sciences and volcanology with a wider audience.
