Local Wellness Advisor: Graduate Students

Devon Simpson (they/them) is the Local Wellness Advisor (LWA) for Graduate Students at McGill and is there to provide you with guidance, information and coaching. Devon is a licensed mental health clinician and Co-Chairs the Student Caregiver Support Group with International Student LWA, Jos Porter. Post-Graduate Student's Society (PGSS)

PGSS has a Family Care Caucus which advocates on behalf of graduate students and postdocs who are pregnant or who have children or other dependants. These meetings are open to all members of PGSS. To learn more about their services, visit PGSS Family Care.

Some undergraduate degrees are also eligible to access the Thompson House facilities, such as undergraduate students in Law and Medicine.

Thompson House is home to PGSS. It is equipped with a Nursing Room with blankets and two rocking chairs, open to all graduate and postdoc students. Contact PGSS in order to gain access to the Nursing Room.
