Samira A. Rahimi is awarded Canada Research Chair in Advanced Digital Primary Health Care

Samira Abbasgholizadeh Rahimi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine, was awarded a Canada Research Chair (Tier 2) from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) for her groundbreaking work in AI and advanced digital health within primary healthcare. This award is given to exceptional emerging researchers and leaders in their chosen fields, as acknowledged by their peers. It is part of a larger initiative in which more than $200 million has been allocated to science, research, and engineering, funding 50 new and renewed Canada Research Chairs across 45 Canadian research institutions—including eleven at McGill.”
