2019 CQMF Symposium on Innovations: Submit Your Innovation!

Published: 21 November 2018

This announcement is brought to you by Dr. Maxine Dumas Pilon (Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine).

The Quebec College of Family Physicians (CQMF) is currently organizing the second edition of its Symposium on Innovations on May 31, in Montreal. This event aims to catalyze the adoption and increased presence of innovations while supporting front-line teams.

The 2017 edition of this major gathering, which brought together more than 200 participants, allowed clinical leaders, innovators and influencers, named for the occasion "dragon facilitators" (in reference to the television show Dragon's Den), to interact and network. More than thirty innovations were presented and over a dozen of them were implemented in nearly thirty settings following this inspiring and refreshing day.

The CQMF is in the process of identifying innovations for the 2nd edition of the event. We are currently looking for innovations that have a significant impact on the organization of care in GMFs and GMFUs; that are aligned with the vision of the Patient's Medical Home (PMH); that contribute to a culture of continuous quality improvement and Which would deserve an increase in scale.

The deadline for submissions is November 30, 2018. The selection of innovations will be announced in early December. We look forward to discovering the talents of innovators in your communities.
